The Wharton Center of Performing Arts is located on the beautiful campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing Michigan. The students and local community are blessed to have access to the Wharton Center and the lovely array of theatrical performances every year. Bringing in the latest and greatest off broadway acts. The Wharton Center has hosted many sold out performances and this years line up will go down as one of the greatest ever. Jersey Boys, Wicked, Les Miserables, and Chicago are making short runs for this famous theatre. All of this would not be possible without a committed base of supporters who understand the value of performing arts in their lives and in their community. As a non-profit performing arts center, nearly all of Wharton Center's operating funds are derived from private dollars in the form of sponsorships, donations, and ticket sales. Additionally, more than 350 individuals volunteer their time and talents. Wharton Center is above all, a community-based, community-supported cultural resource for the MSU community and the people of Michigan.
